Thanks Megan, I’ve been seeing longer skirts and taller boot pairings a lot and I love the layered look it lends.

So pretty. I love the long skirt with the high boots.

You’re too sweet Meredith! I’m going to keep playing with the tall boot, long skirt combos.

Thanks Amy, these Frye’s used to belong to my mom so they’re a favorite

My favorite ratio leaves some calf between the hem and the boot. Here, for instance: https://colormebrazen.wordpress.com/2013/01/15/my-shadow-looks-like-minnie-mouse/ To each her own, though!

I think my favorite looks of yours are when you wear family pieces. I’m an old soul and sentimental sap though! Love this look!…….Are there fashions lying around from Florence? I only met her once and it was after she was already very sick. Would LOVE to have known more about her and her style!

I always love it when people take photos by harbors, harbors just have the best vibe to them. I really like the length of the skirt with these boots, it has a slightly retro, boho feel to it and the pattern on the dress just furthers that. (The boots are gorgeous as well, i love the rich leather look.)

Nice work, but I’m a big fan of the skinnies and tall boots. No better way to show off the detailing of a really cool pair of vintage boots.

I agree with you on that Kelly, nothing shows off tall boots like skinnies or leggings.
